Today, I want to share a personal story about the place that has been the center of our family memories for years - Sal island in Cape Verde.

Let me start from the beginning, when we first fell in love with this place. While walking down the sun-kissed beach, with the ocean touching our feet we felt like in a fairytale. That is when we made a decision that would forever change our lives.

From the moment we set foot on Sal island, we immediately felt an inexplicable connection with its vibrant culture and warm-hearted people. It didn't take long for us to fall head over heels in love with its magical island.

As the days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, the idea of leaving this paradise became unbearable. We made a decision that would shape the future of our family's memories - we decided to purchase the very apartment that had become our home away from home.

In the years that followed, our beloved apartment in Cape Verde became a beacon, drawing our family and friends from all corners of the world. It became a meeting point, a place where laughter echoed through the walls and stories filled the air. We gathered there whenever we could find time, five or six times a year, creating unforgettable memories.

As it usually is, life carried us to new horizons, and we found ourselves moving to the other part of the world. Our family expanded, responsibilities grew, leaving us with less time for the precious gatherings that were once our lifeline. It is with a mix of nostalgia and gratitude that we now find ourselves looking for a new custodian for this cherished place.
